Faith and I were shopping for birthday presents when I came upon these enticing veggies in a plastic bag. Really, they do look like a lot of the “fresh” produce I see at the supermarket Ironically, there were also sacks of plastic doughnuts and such on the same display…oh, these choices. Shall I get my child the cheap calories or the wholesome nutrition? In reality, it is a myth that junk food is cheaper than good food. The cookies sold near us at Lexington are about $1.50 each, while one could by 3 ears of corn from us.
No matter, both sacks of unappealing food were the same price at the toy store. I wonder which one is more popular?
